A man in Massachusetts won $4 million in the lottery with a $10 dollar scratch-off ticket.
Richard Bonanno, resident of Scituate, purchased a game ticket “4,000,000 Mayhem” at the store convenience store “Quick Pick Food Shop” on Hull’s Nantasket Avenue, Mass Live reported.
The ticket was obtained earlier this month. On 17 August, the lucky one claimed the prize from him via the one-time payment option. After paying taxes, Bonnano got $2.6 million.
The Massachusetts State Lottery publishes a list of winning tickets with prizes over $600 on a daily basis. The largest jackpots in the state this year were two $15 million. The winners requested the money through escrows.
