The Honduran National Police reported this Thursday that through the Departmental Prevention Unit they carried out the capture of a subject allegedly responsible for rape.
According to the police report , the subject of 25 years old is a native and resident of the La Arrocera neighborhood, municipality of Choluteca, Honduras.
The arrest warrant would have issued by the Choluteca Judicial Section Court of First Instance, in November of 2021, however, he had evaded justice until this Thursday, September 1st of 2022.
“The action Police was carried out through review and inspection at the Pavana police control post by uniformed personnel from the National Directorate of Border Police Services,” reads the statement released on the Honduran National Police website.
According to the authorities, the suspect’s case will be referred to the corresponding court. respondent to continue with the legal process.
