The controversy that began last weekend between Paul and Mathias Pogba with Kylian Mbappé continues to give something to talk about, and it is that according to French media, the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) striker would have called the brothers with the intention to clarify the situation in which he has been involved.
According to the M6 and RTL media, Mbappé contacted the Pogba brothers separately to hear both versions of the case that has caused controversy throughout France, after Mathias claimed that Paul hired a “sorcerer” to cast an evil eye on the PSG player.
This situation, which for many seems unusual, could affect the harmony between the players of the French team that will seek to defend their championship crownin the Qatar World Cup 2022, for which there are less than three months left.
These accusations from the older brother of the Pogba, It would be just one part of a big problem that involves a possible extortion attempt by Mathia along with other people against his younger brother and current Juventus Turin player.
According to first information revealed by the French press last weekend, Mathias and other armed people, close to the Pogba family, set Paul up in March demanding the immediate delivery of just over $13 millions of dollars, not to mention what was supposedly done against Mbappé.
However, not having that amount, the former Manchester United player United would have delivered only $550,000 dollars and signed a document in which he promised to pay the rest of the money.
It should be noted that all this information and the situation as such, which have a certain similarity to what happened between Karim Benzema and Mathieu Valbuena a few years ago, are being investigated by the French authorities.
