A young man of 17 years old was shot to death by unknown persons and another man of 36 was wounded by a bullet in events that occurred in the Country Club urbanization in San Juan, the Puerto Rico Police reported this Friday.
The deceased was identified as Steven Lazú Báez.
According to the preliminary report and in circumstances that are under investigation, a call to the 9-1-1 Emergency System alerted the police to some shots fired on Espioncela street in the aforementioned sector.
When the agents arrived at the scene, they found a red Ford Probe model vehicle of the year 1991, with multiple bullet wounds, and inside the body of Lazú Báez, shot to death.
The wounded man was treated by paramedics at the scene of the events, his condition being stable.
Agent Orlando Ramos Picorelli, assigned to the Homicide Division of the Investigative Corps Criminal tions of San Juan, together with the prosecutor Ana María Martínez Orama, were in charge of the investigation.
