a-tropical-system-could-affect-the-weather-during-labor-day-weekend-2022

This weekend, many will be closing the summer vacation season with a flourish, taking advantage of the Labor Day bridge on this 2022.

It is very likely that some have already planned a short trip to a beach, taking advantage of the fact that the hurricane season has been extremely relaxed and that no relevant storm or cyclone was recorded in August.

However, weather experts indicate that these conditions could change drastically in the next few hours, which could lead to a very rainy Labor Day.

According to CNN, the National Hurricane Center is closely monitoring 4 areas in the United States where everything necessary is being provided so that in a few days a tropical storm forms right in the middle of Labor Day.

The spotlights are focusing mainly on the Atlantic, since that is where there is a great probability that a storm will form storm that can be given a name (Danielle).

The rains and strong winds would continue their movement towards the west of the country and throughout the week they will move towards the northeast, heading to the Leeward Islands and at the moment, it does not represent a direct threat to the United States but it would leave strong gusts of wind and even rip currents on the beaches of the east coast, so it is recommended to stay away from them.

The Hurricane Center has said that there is a 50 % chance that this tropical system will form within the next 48 hours and a chance of 80% of this formation occurring in the next 5 days.

There are 2 other areas that are being watched for potential development of a tropical storm. One is a tropical wave off the coast of Africa. The hurricane center gives it a 30% chance of development within 5 days. The other is about 600 miles east of Bermuda and is producing some rain activity. However, further development is unlikely.

Heavy rain is also forecast for the Gulf Coast throughout the Labor Day long weekend, especially along the Texas and Louisiana coasts. Such a front could also cross the Midwest, the Great Lakes, and the Northeast.

We must not lose sight of the fact that for this 2022, the peak of the hurricane season will arrive next 10 September.
