Homer Heche Laffoon wants to take over his mother’s inheritance. Anne Heche’s eldest son filed court papers in Los Angeles requesting to become the administrator of his late mother’s estate.

The texts list Anne’s annual gross income, assets and the value of her properties, as well as the statement that the late actress did not have a will.

In addition to control of her mother’s assets, Homer, of 20 years, -which Anne shared with Coley Laffoon-, requests to be appointed guardian ad litem of her brother of 13 years, Atlas. As the young man, who the Hollywood star shared with James Tupper, is a minor, Homer asks the court to waive the bail.

Anne was declared brain dead, the definition of death under California law, on 12 in August, a week after he was involved in a car accident in Los Angeles. She was 53 years old

“My brother Atlas and I lost our mother. After six days of almost unbelievable emotional swings, I am left with a deep, wordless sadness,” Homer told Entertainment Tonight in part at the time.

“I hope my mom is free from pain and begins to explore what I like to imagine as her eternal freedom”

According to the death certificate of the actress, Anne’s body was cremated on August 18 at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, California.

“My brother Atlas and I want to thank Tyler, Noelle and all the amazing people at Hollywood Forever for their kindness, compassion and generosity of spirit” Homer said then in a statement.

“We are convinced that our mother would love the place we have chosen for her; he is beautiful, serene and will be among his peers in Hollywood”, he added.

“The most important thing is that Hollywood Forever is a living place, where people go to movies and concerts and other events. She was our mom, but the kindness and outpouring of the last few days have reminded us that she too belongs to her fans, to the entertainment community and, now, to the times,” he said.
