Likewise, AMLO said that “about three or four days ago” he had received a letter sent by President Biden in response to another letter that he sent about a month ago where he made special emphasis on the consultation that the United States initiated on Mexican energy policy.
“The basics were resolved, and I believe that what I am showing you is more than enough, there is trust, I consider him not only my friend, but a friend of Mexico, which is the most important thing, respectful, what it says about our sovereignty”, he pointed out.
López Obrado said that “it is very important” what Biden points out in said letter, “and this is It is good that the people know, all the people, that the relationship is very good and, above all, Mexico has a strategic place in the world.”

He reiterated that he could only share this part of the text sent by Biden, because they made “a very respectful agreement” and he could not reveal more.
