Mariana Echeverría revealed that it was difficult for her to get pregnant, but fortunately she did and in October 2020 she welcomed her son Lucca with her husband, the goalkeeper of América, Óscar Jiménez.
“I had some problems getting pregnant and I went to do some studies. I was like this for several months until we finally managed to get one of my tubes uncovered and the doctor told me that I could get pregnant, and at the first try I got pregnant”, she said in an interview.
From So, the famous host of Televisa has been very happy with her motherhood; however, now she has shared an unfortunate fact that she must face and it involves her little 2-year-old son.
Echeverría has always been very open with his followers about his private life and through his social networks he let them know that he received the news that Lucca suffers from a rare condition.
This is called cryptorchidism for which Mariana’s son is at risk of having to undergo surgery because the complication is in his genitals.
It is called cryptorchidism when one or both of a baby’s testicles don’t move into the proper position; that is, it does not descend into the bag that is under the penis before birth, a situation that, according to Mariana, is more common in premature babies, such as hers.
“Today we have an appointment with the pediatric surgeon and he will confirm or rule out if surgery is necessary, it is a relatively simple operation, but I have to confess that yes, I am terrified that he, so small, enters the operating room. All your good wishes, advice and prayers are welcome for this new mother”, the driver wrote on her Instagram account.
Finally, Mariana Echeverría advised parents to check their children to attend to this type of illness as soon as possible, such as cryptorchidism, which is not easy to detect.
