Iranian women have come out in protest against the authorities of the Middle Eastern country due to the death of a young woman who was arrested last week by the moral police, demonstrations that have left three dead this Tuesday.
Various images have been highlighted on social networks, where hundreds of women are seen dancing and singing in protest at the death of Masha Amini, of 22 years old, who was arrested last Tuesday by the Iranian morality police, in charge of “enforcing” the dress code for women in that country, and her death occurred last Friday.
Among the multiple demonstrations held this weekend, three people died in Iranian Kurdistan in one of the protests, according to local authorities, Infobae indicated.
The Governor of Kurdistan, Ismail Zarei Koosha, spoke of three “suspicious” deaths after the demonstrations, denouncing a “plot fomented by the enemy”, stating that one of the victims was killed by a different type of weapon than the one used by the Iranian security forces.
Koosha added that one of the victims died in the city of Divandareh with a “military weapon”, while the second fatality was found in the city of Saghez, where Amini was born. No details have been provided about the third person who died, reported Efe.
