A Russian state television presenter said that Moscow should have used the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II to launch a nuclear missile attack on the United Kingdom.
The comment on the program “60 Minutes” was made by Olga Skabeyeva on the Russia-1 channel, where there are frequent calls for strikes against Western countries in retaliation for his support of Ukraine’s war effort.
During a discussion Monday, Andrey Gurulyov, a member of the Russian parliament and former army commander, dismissed President Joe Biden’s call for Vladimir Putin not to use weapons of mass destruction, such as nuclear weapons.

The exchange was tweeted by journalist and Russia watcher Julia Davis, who wrote that Skabeyeva said that Moscow “should have carried out a nuclear attack on Monday, since Many important people attended the Queen’s funeral.”
For his part, the co-host of 60 Minutes, Evgeny Popov, interrupted to say: “Let me remind you that Great Britain also it has nuclear weapons,” prompting Gurulyov to say that the UK’s warheads could be “instantly decimated.”
