aracely-arambula-is-marcia-cisneros,-“la-madrastra”:-she-speaks-exclusively-to-us-about-her-conversion-process

In an exclusive interview with Aracely Arámbula we talked about her new telenovela, “La Madrastra” in which she plays Marcia Cisneros. Even though this project has not seen its release date in the United States, fans of “La Chule” have taken it upon themselves to fill social networks with the most impressive scenes of her character.

Through these videos we were able to discover the acting weight that Aracely is injecting into a woman who is full of pain, anger and resentment. Not only did she lose 35 years of her life, because she was deprived of her total freedom by being imprisoned for a crime she did not commit, but she was relegated, forgotten and marginalized by those who were supposed to love her. In this process she lost the most precious thing she had, moreover, which are her children.

We have seen all these emotions that we mentioned in Arámbula’s eyes in these short Instagram videos, and about this acting effort, the Mexican tells us that it is not as simple a process as it may seem to anyone , especially since her performance is experiential, which is why after each dramatic scene she ends up physically exhausted and emotionally drained.

“It’s difficult”, says Aracely when we ask her how she manages to carry so many hard emotions. “Just now I came from recording a very strong scene, so when you cut it is difficult to appear happy again… Since yesterday my character has been crying, and yes it is complicated. And maybe part of the audience can believe that, well this is just part of your job and you cut like this -she said snapping her fingers- but no. It’s a bit like real life, like when you feel sad or happy, they are emotions, so your brain and your body don’t understand much that we’re done and we’re going to laugh and have a coffee. No. You need a break to be able to regain energy”.

We thus understand that the character of Marcia Cisneros could only be that of Aracely Arámbula, a woman whose presence on stage impacts as much as when you face her for an interview. During our conversation I was able to observe a woman of great beauty, extremely warm and educated. With a smile always ready and grateful when her work is appreciated and applauded. But due to the acting effort that she had just made for “La Madrastra”, as she told us, I could also see her with a sad face. Hence, we can understand that indeed the sadness of her character and the scene she had just experienced from her still came with her, like a veil.

But as difficult as this may seem, we understand the reasons why this Mexican actress opts for this type of work and forms, everything lies in the commitment with which she takes her work and the passion she feels for the performance. Aracely is very honest when she tells us that it would be easier and simpler for her to put on a couple of drops and cry, but she recognizes that this is not her, and it goes against the commitment she feels with her work, with her profession and it goes totally against of his passion for acting.

With acting she embraces social reality

The birth of Marcia Cisneros in the skin of Aracely Arámbula led her to talk with women who have been victims of these injustices. Women who have lost years of their lives, five or seven years. “It’s very hard, it’s very difficult to be able to imagine or try to put yourself in her shoes,” but the exercise leads her to be respectful and to realize that the emotional burden is indeed tremendous, especially because in Marcia’s case she has more of 20 years in prison.

“I am grateful that they have put this character in my hands, that they have trusted me and that I have been able to pull it off, because I feel that it has been very difficult, especially in the midst of my departure. father”.

Let us remember that Mr. Manuel Arámbula died suddenly due to a sudden heart attack last July of this year and to this day the actress still carries the pain of her loss.

Aracely confesses to us that starting from this experience, she wanted to do a different character and she assures that with Marcia Cisneros she has achieved it with this melodrama, but and here comes a big but. Since Arámbula wants his next work to be completely removed from the drama and it occurred to both of us that a comedy would be more than good for him.

“The heart needs a break for so much suffering”, says the actress and singer who for this soap opera she also resumes her musical career interpreting the theme of the soap opera: “I need to find you”. About her song, she tells us that this topic has been shocking for her, because it seems that the song was truly written for her, by her father. She knows that it was not so, that the subject did not arise with this intention. But this did not help to make the impact less, since once she heard it, she admits that she could not stop crying. About the song she tells us: “It says exactly what I would like to say to him”.

The time of the interview was short, because the actress had to talk to other media, too, however we managed to tell her what her public is saying about her because of her performance as Marcia Cisneros and when listening and feeling the warmth of her audience told us that she feels totally grateful.
