New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge entered the MLB history books by hitting his home run 61 of the season on Wednesday and equal Roger Maris as the leading home runs in the same season in the American League in the Major Leagues.
Aaron Judge achieved the feat by catching a delivery from Toronto Blue Jays reliever Tim Mayza in the seventh episode with a man on base, pulling the ball into left field and finally getting out of the home run slump in which he was submerged.
Upon dispatching the home run, he received a loud ovation at the Rogers Center in Toronto as he walked the bases, from those present who witnessed of said feat.
