hurricane-ian:-these-are-the-us-states-where-the-most-hurricanes-are-recorded

This September 27 Hurricane Ian has made landfall in the state of Florida, currently being category 4 when registering sustained winds of 250 km/h and gusts that exceed 300 km/hr, which makes it a highly dangerous storm that could have devastating consequences.

Remember that the Hurricanes are classified, mainly, according to the intensity of the sustained winds that they register with respect to the Saffir-Simpson hurricane wind scale. The scale of 1 to 5 estimates the potential damage to property.

That is why a hurricane of category greater than 3 is considered major, as is the case with Ian.
