Cardi B revealed that she lost a multimillion-dollar contract with the video game “Call of Duty” due to the last court case in which she was involved.
Last July, the rapper had given made known her collaboration with the Activision video game through the publication of several images of it in her music video “Hot Shit” in collaboration with Kanye West and Lil Durk, however, and according to Cardi’s statements published on her account Twitter, the deal was canceled because she did not fulfill her contract.
The interpreter had a photo session scheduled that she could not attend because she had to appear in court for the trial she was facing for being involved in some violent incidents.
“My stupid past decisions made me lose money now. She had a multi-million dollar ‘Call of Duty’ contract on the table but she couldn’t take it because of the court. Guys, think twice before making quick decisions! Lesson learned“, tweeted the singer.
At the beginning of In September, Cardi B pleaded guilty to two counts for her involvement in some fights at a New York strip club in the 2018. Two local bartenders accused Nicki Minaj’s enemy of assaulting them.
The songwriter also pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault, which helped her avoid a criminal trial and time in jail. As a consequence, the rapper was sentenced to 15 days of community service and agreed to comply with three-year protective orders for the victims. .
“Part of growing up and maturing is being responsible for your actions. As a mother, it is a practice that I am trying to instill in my children, but the example begins with me. I’ve made some bad decisions in my past that I’m no longer afraid to face and own up to,” Cardi B shared in a statement.
