No It is certain at the moment that the adults and the child have crossed the line into Canada.
Jorge was kidnapped in Miami on August 27 . The authorities are tracking his father Jorge Morales, from 45; and his paternal grandmother, Lilliam Peña Morales, of 68. Both face charges of interfering with custody.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police has joined the search efforts for the area.
“Until we find them, we can’t really make an association of what they were doing there or what their intentions were,” said Maine State Police spokesman, Brian Harris, to the referred medium.
On Tuesday, the US Marshals Service announced a reward of $5,000 dollars for clues to help locate the child and his relatives.
For her part, the mother of the child, Yanet Leal Concepción, called for the same television station to return her son.

“I’m desperate”, she added. “I am trying not to lose hope”.
