However, within hours of Hurricane Ian making landfall in Florida, a Twitter user uploaded a video that soon went viral due to the somewhat unlikely situation shown in their images.

It turns out that a Twitter user named Brad Habuda (@bradhabuda) shared a clip where you can clearly see what appears to be a shark swimming in the streets of Florida, amid flooding caused by Hurricane Ian.

“Somehow, a shark ended up in a Fort Myers neighborhood during Hurricane Ian,” read the text of his post.

The video of the shark swimming got more than 4, 000 likes and more than 11, 5 million views. Among the comments, some indicate that it seems curious and even somewhat false, since it is not the first time that someone shares a similar video after the passage of a relevant hurricane.

Quickly, who they have the gift of looking for things on the internet and in the networks, they discovered that the video is false, since another Twitter user shared the same video hours before Hurricane Ian hit Florida.

“ Don’t think this is real. According to the index of the video, it was created in June of 2010″, explained the assistant professor at Mercyhurst University, Leslie Guelche, in one of the comments made on said video.

“Someone commented on this previously, I think a retweet, that this video is old and was taken in 2010. The water was sucked out, so this could not have happened 6 hours ago”, was another of the explanations given for this video.
