A man from the city of Palmer, in the state of Massachusetts, hit the jackpot of the ‘Lucky for Life’ lottery game. This game offers a prize of $25 thousand dollars a year for the lifetime of the winner. However, there is the option of collecting a lump sum of cash, which the Palmer resident did.

The player named Joppu Lukose took home the grand prize of the game ‘Lucky for Life’ on Tuesday 13 in September after the first five numbers on your lottery ticket match those drawn.

The man let the lottery machine pick the numbers for him, as reported on Mass Live.

Lukose went to claim his prize at the offices of the Massachusetts State Lottery, which is in the city of Dorchester, on 13 of September. There, the winner chose to receive the prize in a single cash payment of $390 thousand dollars, instead of being given $16 thousand a year for the rest of his life.

Lukose purchased the winning ticket at Luke’s Beer & Wine store located across the street 1478 N. Main St. in Palmer.

Just for selling the winning ticket, the store took an additional commission of $5 thousand dollars.
