Members of a family were trying to escape the flood in Naples when Ellis and Lester made a broadcast for 7NEWS.

The professional did not think twice to run to help the victims.

The camera on the ground captured Ellis running to rescue the residents and take them to safe ground.

“We are trying to help some people in the water here. That’s our camera operator, Glen, over there. I think they can see him trying to help people who are leaving their homes”, narrated the journalist.

“ We have spoken with some of them and they tell us that their houses are lost in the water“added the communicator.
