VIDEO: Putin signs annexation decree for four Ukrainian territories

Vladimir Putin announces the accession of the Ukrainian oblasts of Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia and Kherson. It is the largest annexation of territory since the Second World War.

The total of the annexed regions cover about 90,000 square kilometres, which is equal to 15 percent of Ukraine, roughly the size of Hungary or Portugal.

The new leaders of these four territories attended the ceremony. Yevgeny Balitsky, head of the administration, shared an image accompanied by Vladimir Saldo, his counterpart in Kherson; Denis Pushilin, from the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, and Leonid Pasechnik, from the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic.

Putin warned that any attack on the newly annexed territories of Ukraine will be considered an attack on Russia itself and assured that its troops will defend the entire eastern region of Donbas.

Despite the fact that these actions have consequences and widespread international rejection, Russia continues with its plans to seize some 100,000 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory.

On the other hand, also during the ceremony of the illegal annexation the The president showed his rejection of sexual diversity and attacked the West for defending the human rights of people LGBTQ+ women.

“ I want to call all the citizens of our country, do we want that in this country, instead of mother and father, it is defended that there is a third sex? They are crazy! Do you want us to talk about sexual relations in our schools, from the first year?” he said furiously.

” All this is unacceptable for us, we have our own destiny. The dictatorship of the Western elite and the peoples of those countries reject the concept of the human being, destroy the religious foundations and go towards Satanism”, he criticized.
