Wisin and Yandel, known as “The duo of history” of reggaeton, launch their production “La Última Misión” this Friday, with which they end their career as a group and which has 11 guests, among them, Rosalía, J Balvin and Jennifer Lopez.
“The Last Mission” also includes special appearances by other prominent urban artists such as Puerto Ricans Rauw Alejandro, Ozuna , Jay Wheeler, Chencho Corleone and Jhay Cortez; the Dominican Prince Royce and the Jamaican Sean Paul, according to the representatives of Wisin and Yandel in a statement.
“And it is not for less, their legions of followers around the world are used to receiving the best in its class and this musical collection is a jewel with the pure DNA of these creators of greatest hits and much more”, highlighted the text.
The album includes five hits that were previously released as singles “No Se Olvida” (Certified Gold), “Chica Bombastic” (2xmulti-platinum) , “Recordar”, “Llueve” (Gold Certification), “Ganas De Ti” (2x multi-platinum), plus a special entrance theme.
The songs with collaborations are “Vapor” together with Rauw Alejandro; “Party and Alcohol”, with Chencho Corleone; “Guilty The Two”, with Ozuna; “Moja2 Kisses” with Rosalía; “La Realidad”, with J Balvin; “A Thief”, with Prince Royce; “You Left”, with Jay Wheeler; “Miami”, with Jennifer Lopez, and “No Sales de Mi Cabeza”, with Sean Paul.
In a recent interview with Efe, Wisin explained that the album is the result of four years of work . “Long before the pandemic we began to produce it,” he said.
“Whenever we are going to make a record, we do not plan what is going to come out. Music is rays of inspiration”, he stressed about the way in which what is his definitive work has flowed.
The album, in turn, goes on sale in the middle of the duo’s last tour of shows through various cities in the United States until they offer 14 presentations at the José M. Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, where they hold the record for the most concerts sold in the prestigious arena on their island.
The Wisin y Yandel concerts in Puerto Rico will be from December 2 to 31.
