Antonio Inoki, a wrestling legend in Japan, who came to face Muhammad Ali in 1963, passed away this Saturday at 30 year old. The Japanese also made a career in politics and was involved in attempts at dialogue with North Korea.
The former sportsman born in Yokohama (south of Tokyo) in 1943 and whose real name was Kanji Inoki, emigrated to Brazil with his family as a teenager. There he began to stand out in various sports disciplines, including wrestling, thanks to his athletic skills and his impressive 1.90 meters of height.
