There is no doubt that Chris Hemsworth, who rose to fame for his role as Thor in several films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has conquered Hollywood, but now he wants to be more than just a star.

A dream shared by many actors is to produce movies and television series, therefore, Chris has teamed up with producer Ben Grayson to create his new production house ‘Wild State’.

According to Variety , both already have unscripted projects in the works with NatGeo with a focus on producing adventure, exploration, travel and science programming.

“As longtime fans of National Geographic, we are thrilled to be able to continue and deepen our partnership with them along with the entire Disney Plus platform,” said Chris Hemsworth in a joint statement with Ben.

“’Wild State’ is dedicated to generating immersive narratives that entertain and shed light on important issues in everyone”

“We are grateful for the opportunity to tell important and impactful stories in an unscripted space backed by the support of the world’s leading conservation and environmental brand in Nat Geo,” he continued.

Separately, National Geographic bosses called the pair “exceptional partners” to collaborate with.

“Chris and Ben have been exceptional partners to work with, dedicated to creating and producing the most exciting unscripted programming. We are thrilled to begin this long-term partnership with ‘Wild State’ and can’t wait to build the next generation of successful factual content with them,” said Tom McDonald, Executive Vice President of Global Factual and Unscripted Programming for the network.

Chris Hemsworth’s debut was in ‘Star Trek’ (2009) in which he was chosen for the role of Captain Kirk’s father and Since then he has continued to rise to fame. However, Chris’s career began on Australian television when he was getting more and more important roles.

His biggest success was the series ‘Home and Away’, one of the longest running series and long-lived. Hemsworth shot 189 episodes until leaving the series in 2007, and then had a period of break.
