Kim Kardashian has built an empire with numerous businesses to her name, from her beauty line SKKN and shapewear brand SKIMS to her private equity firm; multiple collaborations with her sisters’ brands and now her collection of home accessories.
Presenting a line that ranges from jars, trays, tissue boxes and other accessories, Kim’s new products, which will make it compete face to face with the big home decoration chains, they will hit the stores next October 6.
These have been designed in a sober and even minimalist style, whose inspiration lies in the stone sculpture and also in the elegant packaging of its skin care products.
“I love concrete and gray tones, I think really zen,” Kim told Architectural Digest in an interview. “When I was designing the packaging for my SKKN by Kim skincare line, I wanted the packaging to look really good in my own home. All my inspiration was concrete sculpture and different shades of stone“, he pointed out.
“Each item has its own unique texture and stone effect with an ornate patina that occurs over time, so so no two pieces are exactly alike…I had all the products made from real stone, and then we replicated that vision by creating the final versions, and I still have those stone models in my office.” Kim explained in addition to the use of each of the elements. “I especially love how the Round Container and Canister are perfect for storing cotton pads, cotton swabs, or any trinket on counters or around the house to keep it tidy.”
It’s the first time one of the famous stars of Jenner or Kardashian launches an interior collection, despite the fact that several of the sisters have already entered the world of lingerie, swimsuits, makeup and even drinks.
