michelin-guide-announces-the-best-“cheap”-restaurants-in-new-york-and-three-are-mexican:-quality-without-harming-the-pocket

Although the “Michelin guides” are associated with excellence and prestige and many people translate this into high costs, in reality their experts evaluate quality based on whether or not it is luxurious.

This is how they have announced the list of the 18 “best” inexpensive restaurants in New York, specifically in four counties: Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and Westchester. Two are Mexican cuisine and a third is Tex-Mex. The stars assigned to each will be announced on October 6, advanced TimeOut.

The term “Michelin Guide” refers to a series of tourist lists published annually by the French publisher Michelin Éditions du Voyage and its subsidiaries, with recommendations on hotels and restaurants.

On Thursday the group published its list “Bib Gourmand 2022”, which annually from 1995 focuses on restaurants with great value for every dollar paid by the consumer, that is, they offer an exceptional menu at a moderate price, highlighted Pix18.

“What Bib restaurants have in common is their simpler cooking style, which is recognizable, easy to eat and often something you feel that you could try to replicate at home”, describes the Michelin portal. “A Bib restaurant will also leave you with a feeling of satisfaction, for having eaten so well at such a reasonable price.”
