Aaron Judge is on track to win his first award as the Most Valuable Player of the American League all thanks to his plethoric offensive campaign that could be completed with a Triple Crown to emulate the Venezuelan Miguel Cabrera.
Beyond his fight for the reign in the three most important lines with the wood, Judge also equaled the record for home runs in a season for the New York Yankees, which was 61 from the hand of Roger Maris.
Regarding his numbers, Judge connected 35 hits, including eight doubles, ten home runs and drove in a total of 17 races for an extraordinary average with the wood of .393. In addition, I set a new high for the year in runs scored with 27, tubeys and average.
The impressive thing about all this is that Judge did not slow down his production rate with the mission of giving the “Mulos del Bronx” the ticket to the postseason, something he was able to achieve by way of the American League East Division championship.
Later, the opportunity to win the batting Triple Crown also helped the “Judge” in not slow down your production and seek to continue escaping in all lines. However, on average he is second by four points, being surpassed so far by Luis Arráez.
Finally, Judge has connected 130 hits, including 28 doubles, 61 home runs and a total of 130 chartered runs. Aside from a .311 woodcutting average, not bad for a player who will opt for free agency at the end of this season.
