ringo-starr-confirms-that-he-was-infected-with-covid-19

After the announcements of cancellation of two concerts due to illness, it was reported this Monday that the singer Ringo Starr has Covid-.

Although the statements regarding the artist’s health indicated that he did not have Covid-19, the Variety portal reported that the former Beatle did test positive for this disease.

According to the information, the singer did present the symptoms of the disease, however, it was not until he underwent a test that the news was confirmed.

“Today it was confirmed that Ringo Starr has Covid-19 and the tour will be on standby while he recovers. Ringo hopes to get back on tour as soon as possible; therefore, he is recovering at home. As always, he and the All Starrs send peace and love to their fans and hope to see them soon“, indicated the statement in the hands of Variety.

As a consequence of the singer’s health condition, his six dates to be presented between October 2 and 9 at different venues in the United States were scheduled.

It has not yet been determined if the cancellation of more concerts will be required, including the closure of his tour, scheduled the days 19 and 20 of October in the National Auditorium of Mexico City.

This is not the first time that the tour of Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band has been forced to be suspended due to Covid-19 infections, since in June two of the musicians of the band tested positive for the disease.
