texas-man-thought-he-won-$20,000-in-the-lottery,-but-it-was-actually-$20-million

A man who lives in the city of Harlingen, Texas, who preferred to remain anonymous, thought he had earned $000,000 dollars playing the lottery, when in reality his prize was $20 million.

A few days ago, the lucky winner bought a $20 Million Supreme scratch-off game at a small convenience store, which he scratched while on the phone with his dad, which may have caused him to be confused about the amount of his prize.

“Initially, I thought it was a ticket for having won $20,000… I was on the phone with my dad when I realized it was $20 millions”, commented the winner.

The man from Texas also shared that he had previously won small lottery prizes of $200, $300 and $1,000.

The winner also shares he saw that he was shaking with excitement and that it took him a couple of nights to sleep all day.

“This was my fifth of 5 tickets that I bought. I scanned the barcode first, so I knew I was a winner, but I thought it was a small prize. When I got in my truck, I realized how much I won,” said the lucky winner.

Resident of Texas commented that with the prize he will help his family and also invest in the rest of the money.

The Texas Lottery reported that this was the first of 4 main prizes worth $20 millions.
