Shylah Rodden, victim of a horrible roller coaster accident on Sunday in Australia, walked the rails of the attraction to recover a cell phone, shows a chilling video posted on some websites and social networks.
Rodden, of years old, remains in critical condition at Royal Melbourne Hospital after she walked down the roller coaster track at the Royal Melbourne Show on Sunday night and was struck by the ride.
According to news.com.au, Rodden was trying to retrieve a phone that fell under the track when she was hit and dragged 25 feet in the air before falling.
Rodden had just learned to walk again after a terrible car accident last year.
A witness, who inadvertently captured the moment when the roller coaster ran over the young woman from 26 years, said he “hasn’t slept since” after being traumatized by the incident.
Subsequently, graphic images of the incident were uploaded to TikTok.
The roller coaster was traveling at more than 40 miles per hour.
Witness “Jordan,” whose last name has not been identified, told 7NEWS that he was filming the roller coaster when his sister and her partner, who were in the front, turned around.
Meanwhile, the Rodden family said they suffered “horrific” injuries, including several broken bones and brain damage.
“The injuries are terrible”, said his father , Alan Rodden in the middle. “Horrific. She has brain damage. She is the pelvis, the arms, the legs, the back, the neck; there is almost nothing that is not broken”, he said.
” Simply I can’t understand how the hell so much damage has been done. Even the doctors have said they haven’t seen anything as bad as this in a long time.”
In January 67, was ejected from her car after colliding with a truck and a car. It was reported that she was not wearing a seat belt.
As if that were not enough for the family, the tragedy comes less than two months after the death of her brother Jason of her.
