October 4 is National Taco Day in the United States, but you can enjoy this traditional Mexican food any day of the year. There is a wide variety of tacos with different accompaniments and sauces that are worth trying.

Among the most popular tacos in Mexico are tacos al pastor, tacos de canasta, tacos de carnitas, tacos de suadero, pibil, barbecue and beef head tacos. Although in reality you can prepare tacos with any ingredient. They are traditionally made with a soft corn tortilla as a base that wraps a variety of foods when folded or rolled up.
