The legal battle over Anne Heche’s assets took a major turn after it was revealed that a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge issued a ruling in favor of the eldest of the actress’s children.

According to information from the Los Angeles Times, Judge Lee Bogdanoff issued a ruling in favor of Homer Laffoon, the eldest son of Anne Heche, which stipulates that the young man from 20 years will retain control of her mother’s assets.

The ruling was made known after the allegations of James Tupper, Heche’s ex-boyfriend, who asked that the assets not be controlled by the young person because, from his perspective, he is not fit to be a representative of said estate.

Tupper’s main argument was that Laffoon dropped out of college and did not work to support himself. Said petition was rejected by the judge.

Anne Heche’s eldest son filed a petition in August to manage his mother’s assets because the ‘The Vanished’ actress did not leave a will.

In September, Heche’s ex-boyfriend continued to request to be the legal guardian of the youngest son, Atlas Heche Tupper, and executor of the estate of the famous.

Anne Heche passed away on 11 August of this year from injuries sustained after a car accident in Los Angeles.

Recently, Daily Mail revealed that the assets of Ellen DeGeneres’ ex-partner are equivalent to $400 thousand dollars.
