The incident was recorded on television, showing the moment in which a group of Catalan fans threw objects at him and spat on a Bayern fan.
The elimination of the Champions League upset the mood in the Barça grandstand and several of its fans decided to take it out on a German.
It is worth noting that at first the Bayern fan made fun of the rout that his team gave Barcelona, and this led to violent acts.
The Movistar+ media managed to capture the Catalan fans by throwing glasses, liquids, hitting and spitting on the Munich supporter.
The attack reached such a point that the victim had to be removed by security officials of the stadium, without this generating major consequences for the attackers.
“This is what has happened in the stands, a terrible embarrassment. It’s gotten so mixed up that stadium security has kicked this fan out, or placed him somewhere else. They fired him by beating him. Luckily the fence was in the way. This is intolerable“, affirmed the journalist Susana Guasch of Movistar.
The analyst of the same chain and exporter, Santiago Cañizares was also outraged by the situation in the stands.
“What this fan has done is very ugly, because he has provoked people, but he gives me the feeling that more people should have been expelled from the stadium, not just him”, he commented.
