The New York police are searching for a couple of suspects who brutally beat an elderly man aged 78 in a train car on the Upper West Side.
The authorities received a call at 911 about an ongoing robbery at the subway station located in 96th Street and 7th Avenue, around 3: 30 Thursday afternoon.
When officers arrived they were told the man was traveling on a southbound 1 train near the
street subway station. when he asked a strange person in the car playing music on a loudspeaker to turn down the volume.
Below is the unknown person and his companion, presumably They began to hit the victim in the face several times.
The elderly man sustained bruises and lacerations to his face and was taken to Mount Sinai St. Luike’s Hospital in stable condition.
The criminals stayed on the train and it is believed that they disembarked at the metro station of th Street.
The New York Police Department released cell phone photos of the suspected couple.
One of them is described as a dark-skinned man with an athletic build and short beard and mustache, and is approximately 6’0” tall and weighs 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with a design on the front, a red bandana tied on his forehead, gray jean pants, a multi-colored backpack, and white sneakers.
For her part, the second suspect is a woman with dark skin, medium complexion, long brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black jacket with a fur-lined hood, a black t-shirt, orange sweatpants, black sneakers, and black sunglasses.
