The actor Alfredo Adame presents 30 percentage of irreparable damage to his left eye due to the aggressions of which he was a victim in the past September.
This Monday, the former political candidate announced how his recovery is going after undergoing emergency surgery for the injuries he presented on his face, specifically in the area of the cheekbone.
“I have 30 percent loss of the eye. The right eye is higher than the left and the eyelid too. The optic nerve is not affected, nothing else was irritated, but the muscles are stressed“, Adame explained in the program ‘Venga la Alegría’.
One of the consequences derived from said eye damage, according to Alfredo Adame, would be the possible appearance of glaucoma -an eye condition that can cause blindness- within some years, so the actor mentioned that it would be a miracle if this situation did not occur.
Alfredo Adame fears for his life
In addition to the difficulties in dealing with facial injuries, the actor said he fears for his life because he has noticed the presence of suspicious cars near his home.
“Little black trucks have appeared, old and ugly, with tinted windows and everything. I feel totally insecure, also seeing where it comes from. This comes from an execution of a drug dealer. The psychological damage is going to take at least two years of consultations, “said the actor.
Adame was the victim of aggression by people who were in a chase that took place near the domicile of him. After the event, the actor went to the Tlalpan Prosecutor’s Office to file the complaint corresponding to these acts of violence.
