A 30-year-old man was shot to death by unknown assailants in the seventh section of the Levittown urbanization in Toa Baja, the Puerto Rico Police reported Monday.
The deceased, identified as Erick Rivera Cruz, had several bullet wounds in his body that caused his death, reported at 9: 40 at night Sunday on Ramón Morla street in the aforementioned urbanization.
According to the authorities, a call to the 9-1-1 Emergency System alerted the police about a person with a gunshot wound in the mentioned route.
When the police arrived at the scene, they found Rivera’s body.
Agent Edgardo San Miguel, assigned to the Levittown Precinct, together with agent Isander Rivera, from the Homicide Division of the Bayamón Criminal Investigation Corps, and prosecutor Iván Rivera took charge of the investigation.
