Next Monday, November 7, the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland, will host the draw for the knockout round of the UEFA Europa League play-offs 2022/23.
Of the 16 teams that will be part of the draw, 8 will go after staying with the third place of their respective groups in the UEFA Champions League, while the other 8 come from second place in the UEFA Europa League group stage.
The winners of the UEL Playoffs will advance to the round of 16 and those who lose will be eliminated.

The runners-up from the UEFA Europa League group stage will be seeded and the eight third-placed teams from the UEFA Champions League group stage are not heads of series.
So far the only restriction is that clubs from the same federation cannot play against each other. However, hours before the draw some conditions would be included.
Which teams from the Champions League will go to the Europa League?
So far, the participation of Ajax Amsterdam, Barcelona, Shakhtar and Seville. The possible participants by groups so far are the following:
Group B: Atlético de Madrid or Bayern 04 Leverkusen.
Group C : Eintracht Frankfurt or Olympique de Marseille.
Group E: RB Salzburg or Dinamo Zagreb.
Group F: Juventus or Maccabi Aifa.
Which Europa League teams will contest the Playoffs?
No Europa League group has defined its participants for the Playoffs, but before matchday six, of these teams could leave the representatives:
Group A: PSV or Arsenal.
Group B: Fenerbahçe or Rennes.
Group C: Ludogorets or Rome.
Group D: FC Union Berlin or Braga.
Group E: Real Sociedad or Manchester United.
Group F: Lazio, Feyenoord, Sturm Graz or Midtjylland.
Group G: Qarabag or Nantes.
Group H: Monaco, Trabzonspor or Red Star.
