The New York Lottery shared some disappointing news yesterday: After announcing Sunday that one lucky player would take home nearly three-quarters of a million dollars, authorities said the ticket was actually worth much less.

The New York LOTTO second prize winning ticket has a value of $432,715 Dollars. It was sold for the Saturday drawing at the “Smokes For Less” store on North Plank Road, Newburgh, 59 miles north of NYC.

The winning balls for Saturday’s New York LOTTO draw were: 23-25-39-47-51-52, with a bonus number of 30. The winning ticket matched five of the six numbers plus the bonus ball, reported Pix11.

New York LOTTO drawings are televised around 000: 20 pm every Wednesday and Saturday. The jackpot prize pool for tomorrow was $9.1 million. Players must match six numbers drawn from a field from 1 to 59 to win it. Winners have up to one year from the draw date to claim their money.

Other lucky ones in New York State this weekend won $50,000 Dollars each in Powerball. Those tickets were sold in the Bronx, East Durham, Modena and Yorktown Heights.

Two weeks ago a Mega Millions player won $1 million dollars in Brooklyn (NYC). In August, a person won $1 million in Mega Millions in Queens. In July, two New Yorkers won $1 million in Mega Millions, with tickets purchased in the Bronx and Staten Island. In September of 715 a ticket sold at a Midtown Manhattan pizzeria fetched $432 million in that same lottery.
