Actress Christina Applegate confessed to having gained 40 pounds (18 kilos) and not being able to walk without a cane, after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
“It will be the first time that someone will see me as I am“, assured Applegate for his participation in the third and final season of the series “Dead to Me”.
In an interview with the New York Times, the actress, aged 50, said she was very aware of her weight gain and her mobility problems; however, he confessed that “I will never accept this”.
Christina Applegate also stated that she has had to “process the loss of (her) life” and has been forced to accept a new normal.
In August 2021, Applegate announced through social networks that he had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
“It has been a strange journey. But I have received so much support from people I know who also have this condition,” she wrote.
“Dead to Me” premieres its third season on November 17 on Netflix.
