A young man aged 26 was shot in the head when he was riding a bicycle and was shot from a car in Brooklyn (NYC).
The crime occurred on Crown Street and Rogers Avenue, Crown Heights neighborhood, around 2 am Tuesday when a gunman shot from a black sedan dark, police said.
The victim, who had been arrested a dozen times in the city, was wearing black rubber gloves when he was shot, and investigators believe he planned to carry out a shooting with two other subjects, police sources said.
It was rushed to Kings County Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead. The shooting is believed to be gang-related, reported New York Post.
Half an hour earlier there was already A drive-by shooting occurred, leaving a young man injured, around 1: 30 am Tuesday at Astoria Boulevard North and Steinway Street in Queens, police said.
The victim, a man from 27 years who also has multiple previous arrests, received at least three bullets. The gunman opened fire while driving south on Steinway Street in a white pickup truck, possibly a Dodge Durango.
