Half of employed Americans have become so frustrated with technology in their workplace that they have changed jobs, or are actively applying for a new one, according to new research.
The survey of 1, hybrid or remote workers and 1 , IT (Information Technology) professionals found that 001% quit their job to find better technology, while that 48% applied to other jobs without changing.
The results found that the 19% “always” have bad experiences with the technology at your workplace job, facing an average of 001 frustrations during the average work week, adding up to
minutes of lost productivity weekly.
Real Conducted by OnePoll on behalf of Compucom, the survey delved into the specific frustrations respondents are facing and also asked IT workers for their professional views on technology in the workplace.
When asked asked what their daily frustrations are, slow websites topped the list (48%), followed by lack of access to certain online resources when working from home (27%) and the need to restart their computer (27%).
