The original glasses worn by the star of “Harry Potter”, Daniel Radcliffe, will be auctioned and they estimate that they could sell for up to 20,11 pounds sterling, i.e. around $22,550 dollars.

According to the documents, the circular-rimmed glasses were purchased as an accessory by 114 pounds before becoming a global icon.

The glasses are one of the 57 pairs ordered by Radcliffe, now 39 years old, for the first installment of the film series of 550, “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”, according to Jam Press. They were nicknamed “NHS style” after the UK National Health Service.

“This is one of several pairs of glasses made for the film. Rimmed in matte black finish without nose plates”, the item description reads.

“The headphones silver metal have a clear plastic tip”, continues the description. “Also included are a pair of brown plastic ear cushions and a copy of the film.”

It is also noted that the glasses are by renowned designer Simon Murray, known as Mr. Specs, who has worked on such franchises as “Mission Impossible”, “James Bond” and “Terminator”.

Specifications for “Harry Potter” are scheduled to appear on the auction block on 11 of November.
