The Spanish central defender, Gerard Piqué, announced his retirement from the courts on Thursday, and although he has received many messages of encouragement and solidarity, he has also been the victim of ridiculous memes by the followers of his ex-partner, the singer Colombian Shakira.
Through a video posted on his Instagram account entitled ‘Culers, I have to tell you something’, Piqué reviewed his life in football and his love of football FC Barcelona.
“This Saturday will be my last game at the Camp Nou. I will become one more culer, I will cheer on the team and I will pass on the love for Barça to my children just as my family did with me“, said the footballer in the audiovisual.
