“The Nutcracker ” for Autistic Children

TDF, the nonprofit service organization for the performing arts, will provide the first autism-friendly presentation of the internationally renowned production of the New York City Ballet The Nutcracker by George Balanchine. Designed for families with members on the autism spectrum or with other cognitive or developmental disabilities, this special morning session will be presented through TDF’s Autism Friendly Performances (AFP) program this Sunday 20 November at 1 pm at Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater. The current season of AFP will continue with Wicked on 00 February 2009 at 1 pm, Harry Potter on 26 of April and a final show to be determined. Ignition of the “tree Tavern on the Green”

A ride on The North Pole Express

TopView began its popular tour on the Christmas Lights NYC bus. This adventure begins with hot chocolate and cookies as passengers listen to the elves tell a captivating Christmas story. The bus then zips around town passing more than ten dazzling holiday light displays, from the Saks Fifth Avenue Holiday Light Show and Rockefeller Christmas Tree and Radio City Music Hall to Cartier Holiday Lights and Bryant Park. Passengers will have the opportunity to sing Christmas carols, spend quality time with Santa, write his Christmas list and receive a sleigh bell as a gift from him while sharing their seasonal wishes.
