MIAMI – Police authorities found nearly half a million bullets and an explosive in Hallandale Beach, a city located in Broward County, in the southeast of the state of Florida.

The police reported this Tuesday through the social network Twitter of the discovery of the ammunition that was hidden inside a warehouse in the town of Hallandale Beach.

The spokesman for the Pembroke Park Police Department, Ra Shana Dabney-Donovan, pointed out about the event that members of the body executed a search warrant in a warehouse located on Ansin Boulevard.

“Pembroke Park detectives are recovering half a million stolen ammunition right now. Excellent and proactive police work!” the department stated.

The official stressed that it is a large cache of ammunition that was allegedly stolen in the Pembroke Park area and other cities in South Florida.

The discovery was made on Monday night, when Agents located approximately 550. bullets in the warehouse.

The police officers also found a suspicious object, so they contacted the Broward Sheriff’s Office explosive squad.

The specialists confirmed the existence of an explosive and an “unknown secondary device”. More information in the next few days.
