donald-trump-calls-mitch-mcconnell-a-“loser”-after-condemning-his-dinner-with-white-supremacist-nick-fuentes

Former President Donald Trump slammed Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, calling him a “loser for our nation” after the Kentucky Republican criticized his dinner with white supremacist Nick Fuentes and rapper Kanye West.

Food has divided the Republican Party, with some downplaying the issue, while others denounced it.

McConnell said that anyone who consorts with anti-Semites or white supremacists is “highly unlikely that he will ever be elected president of the United States.”

Trump’s response was blunt: “Mitch is a loser for our nation and for the Republican Party who would not have been re-elected in Kentucky without my support, who begged me because he was going to fall,” he said in an interview for Fox News.

“His opponent is fine funded had $21 million ready to spend when I took it from two points to 21 points in a matter of days”, added the American magnate.

In addition, the ex-president assured again that he had “never heard of Nick Fuentes” before dinner.

“No one has to prove or be defensive of me and Israel,” Trump said. “They have recognized that I am Israel’s best friend and president.”

Fuentes has defended various racist conspiracy theories and is also a Holocaust denier.

Kanye West, or as he now calls himself Ye, according to Trump was the one who spontaneously brought Fuentes to his Mar-a-Lago home for dinner, who has been harshly criticized in the weeks for his anti-Semitic comments.

McConnell is one of several Republicans who adopted a clear and rejecting position before the dinner.

Former Vice President Mike Pence criticized Trump on Monday and said he should apologize, although he claimed that the former Republican president is not anti-Semitic.

Likewise, the leader of The minority of the House of Representatives, the Republican Kevin McCarthy, expressed that Fuentes had no place in the Republican Party, however, he affirmed that Trump condemned sources after meeting with him in Mar-a-Lago.
