The American country music singer Jake Flint has died unexpectedly at the age of 37, just a few hours after getting married, local media reported this Wednesday.
The causes of Flint’s death have not been determined, who died last Saturday while he was sleeping, a few hours after celebrating his wedding, confirmed his manager Clif Doyal.
“He wasn’t just a client, he was a dear friend and a super nice guy,” Doyal told The Oklahoman.
“He was a people person and had an incredible sense of humor. He made everyone laugh and made them feel welcome. He was an ambassador for Oklahoma Red Dirt,” a music genre created in the state where Flint was born and raised, he added.
On Tuesday, Flint’s widow, Brenda, shared a highly emotional on her Facebook profile.
“We should be reviewing the wedding photos, but instead I have to choose the clothes to bury my husband,” she wrote. “People are not meant to feel that much pain. My heart is gone and I really need it back. I can’t take much more. I need it here,” he added.
Musician Mike Hosty, who performed on Saturday at the singer-songwriter’s wedding , recalled that Flint had “a big heart.” while announcing on social networks that he passed away when he was preparing to undertake new projects.
“We were about to embark on a business together after he and Brenda got married, which was yesterday. Yes, yesterday. Jake has a million friends and I’m not sure how everyone will cope with this tragic loss,” she explained.
