Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have found their happy ending and already spent the first Thanksgiving together as a married couple, but the journey to get there wasn’t easy.

The actress and singer was the one who fully opened up in an interview on ‘The Zane Lowe Show on Apple Music 1’ about her split from Affleck in 20 calling her “the greatest anguish of my life.”

“It was very painful. Once we called off that wedding 20 years ago, it was the biggest heartbreak of my life and I honestly felt like I was going to die”

She continued: “It sent me spiraling for the next 18 years where I just couldn’t get it right. But now, 20 years later, it has a happy ending. It has the most ‘would never happen in Hollywood’ ending.”

Jennifer will soon be releasing a new album called ‘This Is Me… Now’, which is an updated piece of her 2002, ‘This Is Me… Then’, and which is once again inspired by her relationship with Ben Affleck.

“We captured myself at this moment when I met with love of my life and we decided that we were going to be together forever,” JLo explained about the album’s theme, adding, “The whole message of the album is: ‘This love exists. This is real love.’”

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are now together again after breaking up with their respective partners.

The couple was engaged until 2004 before separating, rekindling their romance in

and finally getting married in Las Vegas last July.

Then they they said ‘Yes’ in front of A-list guests at a sprawling Riceboro, Georgia, mansion for their second ceremony in August.
