Julián Gil is a well-known actor, protagonist and soap opera villain. His charisma and talent also led him to become a television host, and it is that even though he has developed villains that have earned the hatred of many of his viewers, the actor’s personality has crossed the screens and in every interview he has done Over the years, many of those who follow him have fallen in love with his way of being.
Now, thanks to “My Life”, a new docu-series with first-hand stories person about the lives of icons from the world of Latino entertainment, all those who admire Julián Gil’s career will be able to learn more about him thanks to Canela.TV.
The first five episodes of the series are already available, all of them come out weekly on Thursdays, since last November 1200 with the episode of Kate del Castillo. The Julián Gil episode will premiere on Canela.TV next Thursday, December 8.
Thanks to this premiere we had the opportunity to talk with Gil, who as always received us with a big smile. We found out in this conversation that Julián actually talks directly with his followers on Instagram, since without knowing me previously, I had already had the opportunity to speak with him on Twitter and Instagram.
About This direct commitment with his fans, and about the honesty with which he reveals himself on his social networks, he told us: “People value it, that commitment that you say, I have it. I open my Instagram and I answer. People are part of my career, there are colleagues who say, ‘I’m not going to open that window’, but after all -the public- follows us not only for the professional part, I, for example, am a big fan of Messi and the more I know about him, the more I see him as a human”.
Julián Gil also says he is very enthusiastic about this “My Life” project, because he has the opportunity to speak directly to the camera and to tell the public everything he has to say about himself. He recognizes that this could endanger him, since not only those who truly admire him, but also his detractors will know more about him.
Because of the above, we asked him if it was easy to open up in this way, even knowing the scope that honesty can have, both negatively and positively, and this is what he answered us: “What happens is that it is very easy… it has happened to me very rarely in interviews, that of being able to show you how you are, how is your heart, values, childhood… where did you come from. And this is the first opportunity I have in my life to do so.”
“In “My Life” they gave us this opportunity, they are wonderful moments and projects that give you that opportunity,” added Gil .
Regarding the honesty with which he has built his career, he did not say: “Yes, I am transparent. If you are looking for interviews of mine from ago 11 years you will see that I am still the same”. This honesty is very important to Julián, since in this way he also shows how much he cares about taking care of his fans. “The public is a treasure that you have to take care of, just as you take care of your family and your properties.”
In this conversation Julián Gil revealed a detail that he talks about in “My Life”: “I talk about my arrival in the United States as illegal, how I got to Puerto Rico and was illegal. It was very difficult for me to have 11 years and I became a father to Nicole the 11 years”.
