Teatro SEA and Grupo Morán have just released “Víspera de Reyes”, a new song for the end of the year season inspired by the Hispanic traditions of the Three Kings Day.
The theme is accompanied by of a video with stop-motion animations, produced by Kadoosh and directed by Ugo Conti, which is now available on the SEA Kids Network YouTube channel and on all major digital platforms.
Eve de Reyes was performed by the musical band of the SEA Theater web series El Avión The Airplane on the YouTube channel SEA Kids Network, which has more than one million views since its launch on the year 2021. The song marks the most recent release of El Avión The Airplane, which has its first album A Volar/Let’s Fly available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora, and more.
Cani, Lupo, Rosi y Grumpy are the colorful monsters that come from different parts of the world and give the band its unique sound and style.
The musical production, orchestration and musical mastering are led by the Puerto Rican musical director and producer Dr. Manuel Calzada, whose music has been performed by symphony orchestras, chamber ensembles and soloists throughout throughout North America, Latin America and Europe. In addition to producing music for many artists, Calzada has also composed, arranged, conducted, and performed music for films, television commercials, and theater.
“This song carries with it a special message of courage and hope”, explains Calzada.
“The day of the three wise men is a very important traditional festivity in Hispanic families and a favorite among our children. Three Kings Eve is a happy song to sing, have fun and dance, while we celebrate our traditions and our musical wealth”, adds Dr. Manuel A. Morán, in charge of the song’s lyrics.
The work of stop- motion was achieved by the Mexican company “Kadoosh”, based in Puebla, created by Ugo Conti, Jorge Ayanegui, and Miguel Cadena. Conti is a constant innovator of animation techniques, being the head of the first and only company that uses magnetic movement, a technique invented by himself.
“We hope this project reaches many homes and touches the hearts of many children”, adds Conti.
