south-korea-did-damage-on-the-last-day-to-qualify-for-the-round-of-16:-they-took-portugal's-perfect-score-and-left-uruguay-out

Before stoppage time began in the South Korea vs. Portugal match, the Asian team was missing out on the round of 16. But at 96+1 Wolverhampton player Hwang Hee-chan put his nation to a 2-1 win to qualify for the round of 16

But the victory of the Koreans was not only limited to their classification, as it did a lot of damage to the rest of the teams: it took away the undefeated Portugal that came with a perfect score and left Uruguay eliminated in the last minutes.

The match ended 1-1 in the first half. Both teams had the opportunity to do more damage but in the end everything was equal, although the Portuguese were without pressure because they were already classified.

The first goal came from Ricardo Horta, who got up early in the game in the 5th minute, with whom the Europeans were excited to conclude the first phase with a perfect score.
