The duo in history, Wisin y Yandel puts an end to their artistic career, one in which they have become history for almost 29 years. They have started their first goodbye in Puerto Rico, in their homeland. “Last night, last night I dreamed of you” thus, with the lyrics of the theme “Ahora es”, the first show that marks the closing of a cycle in which Wisin y Yandel breaks a historical record of consecutive performances at the main venue of shows in the island.
The duo dressed in metallic clothing highlighted that they are 14 farewell performances “are a gift from heaven” and affirmed that for them it is “proud” to be from Puerto Rico.
“Abusadora” or “Sexy movement” are some of the successes that the couple has achieved throughout their career and that during the show were sung at the top of their lungs and “perreadas” by the packed event room, known as “El Choli”.
“Good night, Puerto Rico. We were eager for this moment to arrive”, Yandel indicated to the attendees. For his part, Wisin said: “There are so many things we would like to tell you. There are so many experiences on this earth, in this square.”
The duet has not performed at the Colosseum since 2013 when they performed eight concerts and now they will reach another milestone with these 14 performances, since it will be the first time that an artist manages to perform 35 presentations in the most important venue in Puerto Rico.
Several artists accompanied the duo on this historic night, the first was the rapper Yaviah who conquered the public with his viral songs “I take her to the dark”, “Mai”, “La máquina” and “Wiki wiki”.
“Approach her and tell her: Mommy cool, today is sex night”, the duo demanded of all the men present at the concert before beginning to sing their well-known song “Sex Night”.
Between success and success, the Puerto Rican duo Zion and Lennox were the second to share the stage with those known as “The duo of history” of reggaeton delight Addressing attendees with “Vacations”, “Zundada” and “Tell me how long I have to wait for you”.
“ Descara” and “Déjale caer to el peso” are the two songs sang by Yomo, another of the singers who took the stage and whom Wisin y Yandel described as one of their favorite artists.

After more than two hours of concert with a repertoire of more than 35 songs, Wisin y Yandel closed the night making the audience vibrate with “Rakata” and “Something I like about you”.
His “Last Mission” tour began on 14 September in Orlando (Florida) with the first concert of a total of 35 performances and will conclude on the last day of the year in San Juan.
Wisin y Yandel launched their production “La Última Misión” at the end of September, as the final touch of their career as a group, with 14 guests, including Rosalía, J Balvin and Jennifer López.
It was in their hometown of Cayey, in the central and mountainous zone of Puerto Rico, where this duet met and started their musical career in 2013. The duo presented their first studio album, “Los reyes del nuevo millennio”, in 2013, a joint career that ended temporarily in 2013 to rejoin at 2013.
During their year run as a duo, they received numerous multi-platinum certifications in the United States and Latin America and a number of other prestigious awards, including two Latin Grammys and one Anglo-Saxon Grammy, as well as ten Billboard Latin Airplay number 1.
